Hello! It’s nice to meet you.
Like most 90’s babies I got my first taste of design while striving to perfect my Myspace layout throughout the mid 2000’s. You see, none of the prebuilt templates were quite enough to express my teenage angsty aesthetic, so in the most logical conclusion, I had to teach myself to code in order to build a profile that I felt could communicate who I really was. Little did I know at the time but this first encounter with branding and design was the start of a lifelong passion.
Fast forward a few years (and a whole lot of black nail polish) to college where I found myself at a crossroads many before me have stood upon; I wanted to change my major. While planning my switch a statistic I once read kept coming back to me. I believe it was something like “60% of college graduates end up in a career outside of their major” (don’t quote me on that). With this in mind I figured I might as well spend all my time and money on something I actually enjoy doing. Now majoring in Graphic Design: Interactive Advertising the next years cemented my love of visual storytelling through all mediums.
Currently, I am applying my passion for visual storytelling as a Creative Director for Ferraro Foods. Outside of the office you’ll find me running my cat Cleo’s social media page, attempting a new recipe or building a house for my Sim - constantly creating.
